A letter from our Principal
Thank you for visiting The Rock Academy online. The Rock Academy (TRA) is a Christian private school for grades K-12 with an emphasis on assisting parents in the education of their children. Our goal is to see all children excel spiritually, academically, and socially.
Established in 2009, The Rock Academy has grown as a highly reputable option for those parents seeking a quality education for their children.
TRA has traditional classrooms and a full time on-campus program as well as other options, such as virtual classes, and dual enrollment. Three diploma options allow students to prepare for their future.
Educational resources include small group tutoring, therapists, Wilson Reading classes, academic intervention, accelerated course options and fine arts such as piano, dance, and theater.
God has created and designed each student for greatness, and TRA seeks to design an academic path that supports students in their faith and leads them to success in their future. Parents are honored as a vital part of the TRA program, and building a successful partnership relationship is at the heart of our school.

How we got here
In 1999, Steven and Kimberly Parker were sent from The Rock of Panama City to plant a church in Central Florida. What began as The Rock of Central Florida grew into a campus on State Road 46 with a vibrant church family and two schools: The Rock Academy, opened in 2009, and the Early Learning Center serving children from six weeks old.
Our conviction is simple: we partner with parents. We bring families into the planning and dreaming portion of the academic process, so students can dream big, work hard, and understand their unique, God-given purpose.
At the Early Learning Center, that means giving your child from six weeks to VPK the very best foundation for learning. At the Academy, it means rigorous academics in flexible models, taught by teachers who stay for decades and know every student by name.

Our campus is also home to The Rock of Central Florida, with Sunday services at 10am in the Living Room. School families are always welcome, never required.
