Bringing the Kingdom to the fine arts
That is how our theater program describes itself, and it is not exaggerating: every spring, the whole school puts on a full musical.
A real stage, a real season
The Rock Academy believes in bringing the Kingdom to the fine arts in a powerful way. Students learn all about theater, including the audition process, music training, choreography, and set and prop building, in a positive environment of excellence.
In the Vocal Performance and Theater course, students audition for and put on a full musical production from beginning to end. They develop their characters, build sets and props, memorize lines, and learn the art of a musical.
This year's spring production hits the stage April 23-24, 2027.
Directed by Principal Kaley Hoffman: 13+ years at TRA, more than eleven productions, six of them full musicals.

Beyond the stage
Club Rock STEAM
Before and after care with STEAM enrichment, 7am to 6pm, led by Elementary Director Heather Coday's team. $70 per week.
Dance
New dance classes taught by Tiffany Smith, national award-winning choreographer and owner of Shell We Dance Academy. $80 per month.
Piano
Piano lessons with Jacob Lowrey of The Rock's worship team, on campus. $35 per week.
Outdoor Education
5th to 8th grade, one theme per quarter: team sports, survival skills and camping, real-world skills and repairs, and a year-end obstacle course.
Service and Ministry
Students run a booth at the church Fall Festival, hold Pink Days for breast cancer awareness, and raise money for families in need every school year.
Charge Chapel
The school family gathers for Charge, our chapel service, with speakers including youth pastor A.J. Phillips.
