Director and Co-founder
Kim founded The Rock of Central Florida and its schools with her husband Steve in 1999. She has led the Early Learning Center from the beginning.

A point of pride: ELC teachers grow here. Mrs. Vanessa Perez taught at the Early Learning Center for nine years before moving up to teach 4th grade at The Rock Academy, the kind of continuity only a one-campus school family can offer.

Screened to Florida's standard
Every staff member meets the State of Florida's educational and background screening requirements for child care facility programs, including a Level 2 criminal background check through state and national agencies and the FBI, plus our own extensive interview process.

Trained, and kept trained
All staff complete regular continuing education courses as well as CPR and First Aid training. Every classroom keeps an up-to-date First Aid kit.

Ratios that follow DCF guidelines
Our staff-to-child ratios for every age group are in line with Florida Department of Children and Families guidelines, from 1 adult per 4 infants up.

Accredited, not just licensed
Licensed for 110 children and accredited through the Florida Coalition of Christian Private Schools Accreditation (FCCPSA), nationally recognized by the National Council for Private School Accreditation (NCPSA).
