For 9th-12th grade. Students will expand upon the knowledge and skill developed in the elementary school art program. Emphasis will be on the basic elements and principles of art. The works created will be primarily two-dimensional in the areas of drawing, possibly painting, and/or collage.
Students will expand upon their knowledge of the basic elements and principles of art while putting them into practice, in the areas of drawing, painting, printmaking, construction and/or collage. Students will extend artistic, creative, and critical thinking skills through specific experiences by creating, discussing, and reflecting upon personal works of art and the works of others.
9th-12th Grade
