Algebra I

This course is designed for high school students, but may be taken by eligible middle school students. Algebra I students will study the foundational skills of Algebra including equations, multi-step word problems, geometry basics, linear graphing and quadratic equations.

Students will be required to have their homework graded at home, so the Solutions Manual is necessary. TRA will provide all tests and assessments; you will not need the HS Test packet.

Curriculum: Saxon Algebra 1 Textbook, 3rd Edition, plus the Saxon Algebra I Solutions Manual, 3rd Edition. Several copies are available for loan at the school library; check with the front office. A scientific calculator is required.

1.0 Credit (Algebra I)
